Monsters turn regular accessories into a fashion event. The whimsical nature of this design means you’ll get random smiles when you wear this hat outside. And maybe even a few high fives! These hats are fun to knit and are very customizable. There’s no wrong way to make a monster-place horns, teeth and eyes wherever you like. Since this hat looks like it’s eating your head I’ve named it Hungry Hungry Monster Hat.
You can create different types of monsters just by changing up the yarn, eyes and horns. This knitting pattern uses acrylic and fun fur yarn on US 10 – 6.0 mm needles. Pattern includes both adult and child sizes.
This hat is warm enough for winter but also light enough for springtime wear. Available for $5 via Ravelry. (Soon to be available via my online store.)
