Late last year I was brought onto the College Community Theatre‘s team to be the Costume Designer for Wizard Of Oz.
What a whirlwind it was! This was my first job as lead Costume Designer since I graduated PSU. Thankfully I had a fantastic team of volunteers to help me. And woo boy did I need the help. There were around 90 costumes for this show. We created, altered and borrowed costumes.
Above is one of my crow costumes for the scene where Dorothy meets Scarecrow. The photo is from a story about my costume work in the Eastern Oregonian. Not only did I make the front page, they called me the Wizard Of Thread! You can read the story here:
